The New South Wales Discovery Pass entitles the holder to unlimited Train and Coach (Bus) Travel within New South Wales.

I purchased a 3 Month Pass for $400 Australian Dollars. Unfortunately, this pass does not act as a ticket or a booking. You are not guaranteed a seat simply because you have purchased a pass. During certain weekends, it is possible that the train will be completely booked. However, I have not had any problems scheduling trips from Sydney to Melbourne provided I finalise my plans two weeks prior to departure.
